I really don't read a whole lot into the Republicans taking back the House or Senate. I can't imagine any scenario where that will happen in 2010 despite the ineptitude and lies from Obama regarding taxes, health care, national security, climate change etc.
I am cautiously optimistic that several seats will be lost by the Democrats simply so we can have some sort of checks and balances system the way our forefathers intended.
I am glad to see Dodd is retiring rather than lose an election bid. I look forward to seeing Harry Reid lose his seat as well. I wish a few more would lose on both sides because quite frankly I don't trust many of them in either house, Republican or Democrat.
Keep in mind that as long as there are people willing to elect absolute self serving idiots like Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Mc Cain, Franken, etc we will all lose in many respects.
Perhaps it is just best to keep faith that America will right the wrongs done to her and pick herself up off the floor and start kicking some a** starting in November of 2010! God willing...

Accountability is a sweet word but not found in our government.
ReplyDeleteObama won by a small margin and that is after an unpopular president so there is still hope that things will change. Hopefully our party will do something in order to change what is going on. Give, rally, support, volunteer, blog, etc...do something that will hopefully help change this leadership.
