Is it just me or is it troubling to anyone else that the House is so afraid to vote and pass the Senate version of the health bill, that they are now trying to say the bill is passed without actually voting on it? According to Democratic leadership, voting to pass the Senate bill could prove costly to members voting yes...Really?
No sh*t! How freaking stupid are these idiots? It will prove costly because Americans do not want this health bill passed. The administration said today Obama will not be campaigning with any member who didn't vote to pass his health bill. Who cares? How well did Obama do campaigning in New Jersey, Virginia, & Massachusetts? If I were a Democrat I would want as much distance from Obozo as I could possibly get.
One thing does ring true, if any Democrat does vote yes and this bill passes, it will certainly cost many of them very dearly. Only the radical districts like the one Pelosi resides in will remain re election proof so to speak. Obama postpones his vacation and Pelosi says she has the votes, my question is what's taking so long?
This is what separates a Conservative from a Liberal, the willingness to stand up and make your position and beliefs known regardless if others agree or not. Conservatives have a much higher standard of morals and ethics than that of their counterparts because that is what the core base of people electing them want them to represent.
If Bush had majorities in both houses of Congress, I can guarantee you a lot of work would have been accomplished on America's behalf and yet here we are damn near 2 years into Obama's term and nothing has been accomplished. Democrats are truly dysfunctional morons who are loyal to nobody and untrustworthy to all which is why the leaders in Washington DC look like ringleaders in the circus. Romney vs Hillary 2012
I hate to say I told you so but...Obama has sealed his fate as the worst president this country has had since another cluster f*ck Democrat named Jimmy Carter, and perhaps the worst of all time.
Obama inherited this mess you say? Really? If you believe that I will personally hit you in the head with a tack hammer! If Obama listened to the American people he would have known from day one that jobs, the economy, and national security were the biggest issues facing Americans but he was bound and determined to force socialized medicine down our throats. This is inexcusable and can't be argued.
He told you he would have "laser like focus" on creating jobs and he was able to pass a 15 Billion dollar government job creating bill and then right back to his 3 Trillion dollar over 10 year period health plan.
He treated terrorists like they were citizens of the US. He even saw fit to hire 7, count them, 7 lawyers that defended terrorists at Gitmo. Why? No doubt because they were the most qualified to fill those vacancies...Just like Jones, Dunn, and lets not forget the inept White House security moron who just resigned.
I can already hear the cries of racism pouring from the Congressional Black Caucus, Jessee Jackson, Wright, Farrakhan, ACLU etc because Obama losing his primary to Clinton for 2012 is because he was a black man and it had nothing to do with the fact that he was an inept, racist, socialist, moron who loved his own image more than he did his country!!! I am sure his dipsh*t wife won't be proud of her country for the second time during my lifetime either because of it...
The only way Obozo can avoid losing to Hillary is if he appoints her to the US Supreme Court, a position she would gladly accept. But regardless of what he does if Hillary is not on the highest court in the land she will be on your Presidential ballots in 2012. Can she distance herself from Obozo and his gang of circus freaks? I doubt it, Americans have finally realized there is no room for radical Progressives, Socialists, or moderate Democrats when America needs leaders.
You heard it here, Mitt Romney will be the next president of the United States, hopefully there will be enough of her left to salvage from what he will inherit...

Illegals are taking American jobs?
There are an estimated 12 to 15 million illegal aliens in America today. I have a very clear definition when it comes to illegal aliens and the description pretty much sums it up. Illegal is illegal, plain and simple, cut and dry. Not only are illegals draining our system and resources be it welfare, health care, police, etc. they are partly responsible for contributing to the major drug and child trafficking problems in America today.
Before you call me a racist, I will say I worked overseas in South America and Mexico for almost 7 years. I completely enjoy Latino people and their culture. They have the strongest family units and faith of any group I have ever been associated with. They are very friendly, peaceful, compassionate, and hard working, much more so than many Americans I know.
Are illegals responsible for taking American jobs? What about the argument Americans aren't willing to take the jobs that most illegals are taking? According to data gathered by crop growers and ranchers, there are approximately 1.2 million jobs on the books in America for pickers, laborers, harvesters, etc. If there are 12 to 15 million illegals then "fruit picking" accounts for only about 10% of the illegal population.
So, how are the other millions of illegals able to survive in America? This is a very serious question and should require some thought. The plain and simple answer is they are working and or benefiting from benefits meant for legal citizens of the United States. A small portion are probably making a living based on doing something illegal like guns, drugs, robbery, etc. But my guess is most of them are working for Americans utilizing them as "slave" labor because of their status. I am sure there are an even higher portion who have jobs and are paying taxes and being functional members of society, but should it be allowed?
Should we round all of these illegals up and send them home? What about their children who were born here? If their parents were illegally here when they were born, should they be considered illegals as well? Could California balance their budget if they didn't have the costs of providing for the vast majority of illegals? Interesting...
I don't think using the excuse that Americans can't find jobs because there are too many illegals taking them is a valid argument. Americans can't find jobs because their leadership in government is doing everything it can to kill small business and capitalism is a much more feasible argument because the latter is true.
However, we do have major issues with illegals and they need to be addressed. I put it higher on my personal priority list than let's say the don't ask don't tell policy in the military that Congress is currently wasting their time on. But obviously not as important as jobs or the economy which should be the biggest priority even though it isn't. I do have it listed lower than health care reform but above Obama's failing socialized medicine plan.
It is important we get a handle on our illegal problem. Not only for national security issues but for the general overall health of our nation. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth...

Embrace Selective Discrimination
This should hit a few nerves... I am Catholic. I am not a very good or devout Catholic but I attend mass and believe in God and Jesus Christ as my savior. Having said that, I also believe the Catholic church is becoming a sad joke and are about as hypocritical as any Liberal when it comes to "upholding" standards, traditions, and values of the church.
Any church or affiliated school of the church that is willing to offer Obama an honorary degree despite the fact he conflicts with the church on many issues and an especially big one being abortion is in fact hypocritical. Any church that stands by and watches racial, prejudice, and hate speech from one of the priests like Father Flagler of Chicago is in fact hypocritical. I could go on and on but I'm sure you get my point.
I know lots and lots of good Catholics, devout Catholics, that would be offended by this. Hell, I send my daughter to a private Catholic school mainly for the much higher standard of education but for faith and spirit based learning as well. So you see as a Catholic I am hypocritical as well...
I will defend the church when they make the decision to discriminate and not allow a child from lesbian parents go to Catholic school like they did in Boulder Colorado. Not because I don't support gay marriage, because I don't, but because there should be places in our society that allow specific people only for whatever reasons and the ones that aren't included should just deal with it.
All you have to do is tell a Liberal they can't do something and you will have hell to pay. Why is it that some people think they have to prove a point by forcing their way into something not meant for them simply because it's not meant for them? Do they have anything productive to society to add or do they just go thru life questioning and disobeying every rule because some cooky organization wants them to?
I am a white male, I can't get into an all black college. Are there any all white colleges? I can't get into the girl scouts, I can't join a sorority, I can't host The View, I can't be a feminist, a Black Panther, golf at Augusta, or carry a gun on a plane. My point here is we are a society governed by laws, traditions, and morality. We must adhere to following the rules and holding ourselves as well as our peers accountable when they are not being a productive or functioning member of society.
Why would a couple of lesbians want to put their child into Catholic school? I don't know. Is all of this scrutiny and media attention worth the toll it has to be taking on the child? I seriously doubt it. Do they want the highest quality education for their child, or are they trying to prove a point?
I can't join the girl scouts, the NAACP doesn't represent me, neither does the KKK, I don't qualify for the United Negro College Fund, I can live on an Indian Reservation but choose not to, I can't receive a degree from Moorehouse or Spellman colleges, I don't get any affirmative action credit for being me. I am who I am, take the good with the bad, but I certainly don't want to force myself into a group that doesn't want me or where I obviously don't belong.
It is OK and in fact normal to want to gravitate towards people we have commonality with. Gender, race, faith, whatever the commonality is should simply be irrelevant. Who cares? Why does anyone care? Are they bitter because they don't belong or are they just trying to prove a point? Live and let live, to each his or her own, sound familiar?
I don't see the logic in trying to force myself somewhere I'm not wanted for whatever reason but I guess that's because I'm not some cooky, lesbian, Liberal wackjob. It obviously is a Liberal thing and they are right, I certainly wouldn't begin to understand...

Purple Thumb
Despite all that has been said and done with regards to Iraq, today is a day all Americans, Iraqi's, and our allies can be proud of what has been accomplished in Iraq. Oh yeah, and it's all Bush's fault! Despite the fact Obama and Biden tried to claim it as one of the greatest accomplishments of this administration and despite their several conferences and videos arguing, contradicting, and voting against the "surge". Bush and his administration deserve all the credit for successfully liberating Iraq and ridding the planet of the most evil dictator since Hitler.
I was so pleased to see the picture of the elderly woman today holding up her purple thumb as a proud indicator of her exercising her right to vote. I spent a little time in the Middle East and I can tell you they way many women and children are treated there is absolutely appalling to me. Americans that have never traveled abroad could never imagine the horrors of the discrimination, neglect, and punishment these people have to endure.
It is a great thing to see women voting. It is a better thing to see little girls going to school for the first time. It is also great to see women and girls alike exercising their rights to be able to present themselves in public without fear of being beaten or killed...Despite your beliefs about the wars, Bush and America got this one right, the pros completely outweigh the cons. Thanks to American soldiers and our allies making the ultimate sacrifice to see it happen.
I wonder how many people in my state of Oregon who have their ballots mailed to them took a minute to stop and reflect what that purple thumb actually meant. I wonder how many Americans did the same. All too often we take for granted the right to vote. Hell, I know people that have never voted! Hopefully the purple thumb will remind Americans and the rest of the world that it is our responsibility to protect those that can't defend themselves. We will protect America and her allies no matter the cost because that is the American way.

Time to Ramp up the Death Penalty
How many times do we have to hear a horrific story of a sex offender being released from prison and killing yet another innocent victim? Honestly, it is a main reason I hate watching news on television, it literally breaks my heart every time I see grieving family members asking the very same question we all end up asking which is why and how ?
Why do we still feel it necessary to release these sick f*cks back into society only to have them kill and how can we as a society put and end to it?
I am all for due process and equal rights under the law. I am also very sensitive to the innocent until proven guilty process which defines America, Duke la cross case notwithstanding...
Perhaps it is time for lawmakers to suggest a one and done type of law. I am shooting from the hip here but how about if you are convicted of a sex crime, finish out your sentence, and enter society you are now put on notice any further conviction of a crime involving anything with a sexual nature will result in 2 options for you. You may choose either life without the possibility of parole in the general population of any federal prison or you may choose the death penalty. Plain and simple. I don't care what they choose because either way the result will be more oxygen for those of us who deserve to be breathing it...
It is easy to lose sight and focus on Socialized medicine, higher taxes, global warming lies, etc but we must stand up for our children in a different way other than monetarily as well. We have to protect them and all would be innocent victims from these twisted f*cks known as predators.
I for one, would be glad to pull a switch, pull a trigger, tighten the noose, or whatever else is needed to rid these wastes from our society. Please God, be with the families of these poor victims and give them comfort and strength in their time of need. May God Bless them and protect all of us.

Meanwhile, Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are still trying their very best to force a 3 trillion dollar socialized medicine package down your throat. Is this the laser like focus you were expecting? Better yet, is this the "change" you were expecting?
When the unemployment rate hiked right back up last report despite the fact those idiots in the white house told you their plans were working, what was their excuse? The weather was bad, especially on the East coast and this was the reason unemployment went back up. You see businesses lay off employees during cold spells, I guess...
